We took the opportunity of having both Alasdair and Gabe together during Celtic Connections and went into the studio to record a couple of reels from Cape Breton played here at a relaxed pace. These two tunes feature in the Gabe McVarish Collection.

We kick off 2019 with not one but two concerts at Celtic Connections. First off is the Opening Night: Syne of the Times with some of the best musicians Scotland has to offer. Then on Friday 18th January it’s a double bill with the mighty The Chair in Queen Margaret Union!
