With this recording we wanted to gather together tunes that we have been playing since the early days of the band. The material here never made it onto previous albums because we couldn’t find a place for it, didn’t believe we were doing it justice or simply felt that the tunes were too commonly-played and overlooked them in favour of less well-known material.
Really excited to be heading out on tour over the next wee while. We’re going to be recording a couple of the gigs at the end of the tour (Tarskavaig Hall and Grogarry Lodge) for a live acoustic album. We’ve been nominated in the SCOTS TRAD MUSIC AWARDS for Folk Band of the Year. Massive thanks to everybody that nominated us. We’re looking forward to a great night in Inverness at the awards.
