“Best Folk Band in Europe”
We returned to Germany last month to collect the Eiserner Eversteiner trophy at the 23rd Folkherbst Competition in Plauen. Here’s the trophy about to head up the Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye! He’s pretty hardy!

Celtic Connections was great this year! We were part of two brilliant nights of music. First up in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall as part of Allan MacDonald’s amazing piece of music, The Bruce 700. And we followed that up with our 11-piece extravaganza dàimhMÒR : the BIG band! Here’s a video of Griogair doing some of his Gaelic Hip Hop with some beatboxing from young Lewis MacRae.
